Since 2006, PediaCast has provided moms and dads with a regular dose of news parents can use, answers to listener questions and interviews with pediatric and parenting experts. With over 400 episodes and millions of downloads across the country and around the world, more parents trust PediaCast than any other podcast source.

But what about providers?

Over the years, many healthcare providers have joined the PediaCast audience, looking for evidence-based answers to the questions young patients and parents ask most. And now, in response to popular demand, we’ve created a podcast just for them! In addition to a wide range of pediatric topics, we include episodes on faculty development, helping pediatric teachers and researchers improve skills at every level. Plus, we offer several forms of education credit for our listeners.

About Dr. Mike

Dr. Mike Patrick is a board-certified pediatrician and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is also an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and an Attending Physician with the Section of Emergency Medicine at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

He has more than 20 years of experience helping kids in a variety of settings, including primary care offices, summer camps, emergency departments and urgent care centers.

Dr Mike also has a background in broadcasting, serving as a skating rink and radio DJ before heading off to medical school. He started PediaCast in 2006 as a supplemental source of pediatric information for his patients. Today, with millions of downloads and listeners in all 50 states and more than 100 countries, PediaCast has grown into the most-listened-to pediatric podcast in the world.
