About Dr. Mike

Dr. Mike Patrick is a board-certified pediatrician and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is also an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and an Attending Physician with the Section of Emergency Medicine at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

He has more than 20 years of experience helping kids in a variety of settings, including primary care offices, summer camps, emergency departments and urgent care centers.

Dr Mike also has a background in broadcasting, serving as a skating rink and radio DJ before heading off to medical school. He started PediaCast in 2006 as a supplemental source of pediatric information for his patients. Today, with millions of downloads and listeners in all 50 states and more than 100 countries, PediaCast has grown into the most-listened-to pediatric podcast in the world.
